Church Cottage

I had the bright idea of heading to Tobermory without any actual planning.

DON'T hahaha.

Luckily, by chance, I contacted cedar escape cottages and they had a vacancy.

We headed straight there, and now we are 100% returning for many years.

Dean is one of the most genuine people I've met in quite some time.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for my family of 6, and we had more fun than I think I can remember during our brief stay.

Perfect location, excellent accomodations and honestly the guy to ask for what to do around the area.

Amazing place to enjoy with family and friends. Owner is very friendly and caring, recommended to everyone. Amazing facilities and rooms are also very clean.

We came with group of 28 people... Cottage was amazing... Owner Dean is very nice, kind, friendly and knowledgeable person... I recommend to stay at his cottage if you are visiting Tobermory... :)

I was stuck in a Jam. 3 kids we missed our boat 4 hours from home. We were in trouble. I jumped on Google started calling around. No avaiablity but worse yet was just the cailus treatment we received. No sympathy to our situation. UNTIL I got a hold of Dean at Cedar Escapes. He made room in his personal accommodation for us and gave me a great price... So we went back up but planned better in advance and stayed in one of the real cottages. Omg so beautiful just down home comfort with cottage escape feel. He made us feel very welcome poped by our fire (which he helped us start because we did not have paper) He gave my kids some chocolate and just chatted for 5 mins told us about some tricks and attractions to the area. Dean we cannot thank you enough for your hospitality the amazing accommodations deal and help. We will be back again ! And urge anyone going to Tobermory to call Dean first :)

Great place me and my wife and son and great friends had a great long weeken july 1 2018 I recommend anyone go there great place good location close to ever thing we had great time there owners there r great people very friendly and great to talk to

Very nice place to stay.

We really loved our stay ,We felt relaxed and accommodated in a relaxing atmosphere. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The lovely cottage is conveniently located to access local sites and access to the ferry is just up the road. It was well worth the long trip from Ottawa. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to coming back again in the near future.

Great place to stay, clean and well maintained cottage rentals and cabin rentals. the host of these wonderful cottages, is super welcoming I Highly recommended Cedar Escape Cottages!!!

Couldn't ask for a better location. Cottage was amazing. The owner is such a kind, friendly and knowledgeable person. When u come to tobermory you will want to stay here

Hoareau was really accomodative, I ask for 22 people to him. And he mention me about the church, grande, petite and chapel cottage. Which is combined together. the petite cottage was only one door ahead of the grande cottage. We negotiate the price and he really surprised me what we deal with. What you've seen in the picture was totally different. The place is really tidy and clean although there's no cleaning fee but you're responsible to clean up everything. We are so happy and we would like to come back again!!!! Thumbsup!!

Wow. The church cottage and chapel cottage are AMAZING. Great for a group, Dive Kawartha brought a group of diver up for the weekend and stayed here in the two cottages combined to one big one. Huge space with lots of beds, a great big table for groups, a pool table and an indoor swing. 😎

Dean was wonderful and very accommodating. The location was perfect, just across the street from Divers Den - the best dive operation in the area.

We will definitely be back to this cottage
